Canine Good Citizen Test - CGCTests scheduled for 2017: February 21, June 27 and November 14th
The Canine Good Citizen certification program is designed to reward dogs that have good manners both at home and in the community. It stresses responsible pet ownership and good manners for dogs.
The Canine Good Citizen Program has had an extremely positive impact in many of our communities. This program can help assure the dogs we love will always be welcomed and respected members of our communities.
"The purpose of the Canine Good Citizen Test is to ensure that our favorite companion, the dog, can be a respected member of the community because it is trained and conditioned to act mannerly in the home, in public places and in the presence of other dogs. The program embraces both purebred and mixed-breed dogs . . "
