We offer a variety of social events for our members such as hosting a Holiday party and Summer Picnic with Doggie Games; participating in community activities such as the Aptos Fourth of July Parade, Santa Cruz County Fair and Morris Animal Walk Fund Raiser; events to support our annual scholarship to a deserving UC Davis veterninary student and an Emergency Medical fund for dog owners unable to pay for veterinary care.
As an AKC dog obedience club in the Monterey Bay area, we hold our events in Santa Cruz County with the exception of our VST which is offered in Seaside. In Dec. is our Winter Workshop at the fairgrounds in Watsonville. Our Variable Surface Tracking Test in March is on the campus of CSUMB. Our 2-day Agility trials are held in June at the usual location, SkyPark in Scotts Valley. Our new, double Obedience/Rally Trials (AM & PM) is at our new location on the grounds of St Francis HS (Watsonville) on our new Saturday date in July. You're invited to join us as exhibitor or spectator. We're a short drive away

Fund Raising EventsAll the funds raised at our annual Holiday Photos taken by Dog Gone Digital go to the Gifts from the Heart program, an emergency medical fund for dog owners unable to pay for veterinary care. Even the photographer donates his time and materials. In 2018 donations paid for a puppy with Parvo at the Vet Hospital seen above.
Community InvolvementOne of our annual events is to visit Sunshine Villa in Santa Cruz where we demonstrate basic obedience and some agility exercises, concluding with the residents visiting with our dogs.
